LEVI HUSKYPARK IS OPEN ALL YEAR


Levi Huskypark

Would you like to see wolves, reindeer and pure Siberian Huskies? Do you wish to go for a husky safari? In Levi Huskypark all that is possible. 

Husky Park is located in Köngäs only 10 minutes drive from Levi towards Inari (Inariroad, Sokkapora in Köngäs village) by taxi (+358 16 106441) or by your own car. Company name is Polar Speed Tours.

Owner of Polar Speed Tours, Mr. Reijo Jääskeläinen, started sleddog safaris in Western Lapland 20 years ago. He has won six Finnish and tree Scandinavian Championships in dog sledding and four victories in the Nordic Marathon. He has participated in the Alpirod dog sled race in the Alps tree times (on the Alps 6000  race kilometres together). He has also completed a 700 km dog sled expedition in Greenland with his Eskimo guides.


Sled dog safari are organized in winter time and guided visits around the year.

HUSKY PARK IN SUMMER

Movie wolves, huskies, reindeer and little dogs

Summertime programs includes dogshows and guided walking tours to nearby lake Munajärvi.

Guided visit (10 €/adult, 5 €/child, only cash) includes drink and many stories about dogs. 

   

WINTER PROGRAMS

January - April

         

Programmes for self drivers (Guided safari, but you drive yourself with own dog team and sled):

- Husky Express 5 km

- Sled dog tour 10 km, 15 km, 25 km

- Excursion to "Promised land" 

- Special "Wolf" Safari in moonlight 

- Safari round over five wilderness lake or Hotel Korpimarja, 20 km  

- Day safari to Pöntsö-Art gallery, 50 km

   

PROGRAMS in Christmas time

- Christmas Forest Husky Excursion (2 km ride with pure Siberian Huskies)

Price 40 €/adult, 30 €/child under 12 years. Includes: 2 km Husky ride in sledge, hot drink (coffee, tee, mulled wine). During the excursion you will experience the, see the pure Siberian Huskies, movie wolves, little dogs and reindeer.

- Husky Express 5 km sitting in sled. Guide drives, you enjoy!
